Nesting
1 : to build or occupy a nest : settle in or as if in a nest
2 : to fit compactly together or within one another
I don't know if I'm nesting or if I'm just tired. Lately all I want to do is come home from work & hang out with John & Linda. This is partly due to how busy work is right now & partly due to it being the time of year when people don't go out much. Even on the weekends, if nothing's going on, we stay in, cook & watch a movie. We usually go to Mexican with Carolyn & David on Fri. nights, but other than that, we're doing a whole lot of nothing. I have a lot of friends I'd like to see more of, but it's just not happening right now. I can't really do weeknights, so I'm missing out on some stuff there, other than that, I don't know. John & I would both like to start having people over, but we have yet to actually invite anyone to our house. I'd like to get the house a little more together, plus I'm not exactly the world's best cook.
There's no real point to this post, I'm just having a weird day. I'd like to lose weight, but I can't seem to make myself work-out or eat better. I'd like some cute, new spring clothes, but I feel like nothing will fit, plus money is tight. I've got a hair appt tomorrow & can't decide if I should keep growing my bangs out or cut them back in. I'm tired of my make-up. Yesterday was "Administrative Professionals Day" & I got zero acknowledge from my boss even though I work my ass off for him. Linda has spent the last 3 nights sleeping in the kitchen because she keeps waking me up in the middle of the night to pet her. Maybe that's it; maybe I just need a good night's sleep. I'll report back tomorrow.
Oh, totally unrelated, but I sold the bedding set, so ignore the 'for sale' post.

hang in there, homey. i think ruts are just going around right now.
I'm with you. My diet lately has consisted of food such as nachos loaded with cheese and breadsticks. Meanwhile my clothes are getting snug and I have zero desire to go to the gym. We need to go on a road trip to some TN oddity to get out of our rut.
