Hi, I'm Kim & this is my blog. Quick geographical background: I'm from Nashville & have pretty much always lived here, aside from a two-year stint in NYC from 2001-2003. Williamsburg, represent! My parents & sister are also here. My sister & her husband have 4 daughters (ages 2 - 6, including twins) that equally delight & terrify me.
I moved back to Nashville in 2003 & quickly met 'Pompadour John', who I dated for 100 years before marrying in 2008. 2008 was a big year for us, aside from locking this thing down, we also bought a house & rescued a dog, Linda McCartney. Linda is a 7 year old half corgi, half Australian shepherd mix. John spent 2 months teaching her how to howl & now they howl together almost every night, usually to the chagrin of me as it's interrupting whatever fill-in-the-blank reality TV show I'm watching that night.
John is from Maryland, moved here for college & stayed for the music industry. He's a recording engineer & musician. Although he's not in a band, he does make frequent on-stage appearances as he owns & plays every obscure musical instrument known to man. If you need anything mastered, John's your man.
I started this blog in 2007 because I had a very busy job & wanted a way to keep my friends & family current on daily life. I write about everyday stuff: books, exercise, food, movies, etc. I tend to keep things light & funny.
