April Beauty Favorites

Back in March, I was just shedding my winter skin & getting excited about spring colors. I'm in full spring swing now. Here are my April beauty favorites.

I got this Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir bath oil for Valentines Day last year. As you can see, it's clearly going to last me the rest of my life. I put the oil on my wrists & forearms & then spray cologne over it. I'm out of the cologne I usually wear, Wild Bluebell, so I thought I'd try some other scents. The one I'm currently into is Nectarine Blossom & Honey.

I've alternated between these two nail polish colors all month: Color Club Mod In Manhattan & Essie Play Date. I've also been doing some fancy self-manicures using this Sally Hansen Golden-I. I've been real into my nails this month. That Mod In Manhattan is the perfect white. I've almost used the whole bottle.

Lush has finally come to Nashville. I went in there recently to buy a birthday present & bought this It's Raining Men shower gel for myself. I REALLY love it. I basically want everything in the store. I know I've already talked about this Coconut Nourishing Body Cream, but I love it so hard. I slather my hands in it before bed & have sweet island dreams all night.

I've possibly talked about this eyelid primer before, but I had a conversation recently about primers & I thought I'd put another plug in for Put A Lid On It by the Balm. I prefer this one to the more popular one by Urban Decay because this one is more like an eye cream & blends easily under the eye, where my makeup tends to smear the most.

Lipstick. I spent an entire day recently researching orange lipstick. I narrowed my long list down to 4 & went to Nordstrom to try them out. I wanted to try 2 by MAC, 1 by Chanel & 1 by Lancome. After trying them all, I went with MAC Lady Danger. It looks red in this picture, but I assure you it's orange. I'm real into it. On the rare non-orange lip day, I've gone back to my trusty Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Corvina. It's the best bright pink & it stays on forever.
